π I would suggest that the old man should have called all three merchants inside the bathhouse before handing over the money. The two honest merchants should always verify together before trusting anyone with their money again.

A. Did the advice work? How?
π Yes, the advice worked. The old man’s friend told him to only return the money when all three merchants came together. When the two honest merchants and the judge came to him, the old man repeated this condition. The judge agreed that he was right and should not return the money until all three appeared together.
B. Message thanking the friend (Imagine you are the old man):
Dear Friend,
Thank you so much for your wise advice. Your suggestion to wait until all three men come together to claim the money saved me from great trouble. The judge agreed with me, and I was not forced to return the money wrongly. I truly appreciate your help.
