Interpret the table in your own words.

Ans 👉 The table shows the population distribution of Nepal by age group for the years 2017, 2018, and 2019. The percentage of children aged 0–14 years gradually decreased from 31.34% in 2017 to 29.57% in 2019. Meanwhile, the working-age group (15–64 years) increased slightly from 63% to 64.65%. The elderly population (65+ years) also increased slowly from 5.66% in 2017 to 5.78% in 2019. This shows a trend of decreasing young population and increasing older age groups in Nepal

Write your answers to the questions below. Ask one of your friends the same questions and make notes. Then, write a paragraph about the similarities and differences that you and your friend have.

Ans 👉 I am 13 years old, and my friend is also 13. I am a little shy, but my friend is very outgoing. We both like watching television and enjoy pets. I really like mobile phones, and so does my friend. I don’t like telling stories or jokes much, but my friend loves it. Both of us love to exercise. In summary, although we are the same age and share many interests like watching TV, loving pets and exercising, we are different in personality—I’m shy, and my friend is more social and talkative.

Project Work

Collect the number of students in different grades of your school. In a group of five, make a bar chart on chart paper. Try to make it as attractive as possible and stick on the classroom wall.
